TSI Group Expands Precision Nutrition Platform to U.S. and Australia

TSI Group is expanding Tailored Script, its precision nutrition platform, to the U.S. and Australia markets after a soft launch in China. While most solutions stop at recommending already-existing products, the platform promises to manufacture individualized supplement formulas at scale.

After nearly a decade of development and real-world deployment in China, Tailored Script is expanding into the United States and Australia through new manufacturing facilities and strategic launch partners. These include Biohax, a direct-to-consumer precision nutrition platform in the U.S., and N of 1 and TMRW in Australia, representing both practitioner-led and direct-to-consumer personalization models.

Unlike conventional personalization programs that match consumers to existing SKUs, Tailored Script enables the creation of individualized supplement formulations using health data, evidence-informed formulation frameworks, AI-assisted insights, and proprietary manufacturing technology. It offers an end-to-end system from data collection and analysis through formulation creation, precision granules, robotic dispensing, manufacturing, and fulfillment.

“The industry has talked about personalized nutrition for years, but personalization is only meaningful if you can actually manufacture the formula for the individual,” said Joe Zhou, co-founder of TSI Group. “Tailored Script was built to make the entire process possible. It gives brands and practitioners the ability to create truly individualized supplement formulas, not just individualized recommendations.”

Tailored Script was inspired by challenges faced by functional medicine practitioners and supports a range of personalization approaches, from wellness questionnaires and targeted health programs to biomarker-informed and practitioner-directed protocols.

The platform combines health data and AI-assisted analysis with evidence-based formulation frameworks developed alongside medical, nutritional, and scientific advisors, the company reported.

“N-of-1 or precision nutrition supplement solutions are no longer a future concept,” Zhou said. “With Tailored Script, the infrastructure now exists to deliver them at scale.”

Tailored Script enables individualized supplement manufacturing through a proprietary system using ~3mm precision granules in pods. Each granule carries a precisely measured ingredient dose, allowing multiple ingredients to remain separate until they are assembled into an individual’s daily formulation.

This approach addresses challenges related to compatibility, stability, dosage accuracy and manufacturing complexity.

“Powder-based systems can be difficult to manage when every formula is different,” Zhou said. “Our precision-granule system makes it possible to combine vitamins, minerals, botanicals and other bioactives into a pod designed around an individual’s specific needs.”

Tailored Script is pursuing a highly selective growth strategy with a limited number of partners across North America and Asia-Pacific. New partnerships are evaluated based on strategic fit, health data capabilities, and a long-term commitment to precision nutrition.
